Integration with third-party databases and SQL. Generate SQL scripts from designs. Extract related diagrams from different databases at a time.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has intuitive features that helps businesses to support the data modeling process and customize the database structure. With capabilities such as data modeling, link and sync, and metadata management, you can immediately capture architecture layers and requirements, tap into a powerful metadata repository, and share discoveries with your teams. Create and maintain consistent connection among business and IT artifacts to help enforce corporate standards. Including a browser-based portal for ease of access, it offers intuitive visualizations and reporting functionality that enables to various activities. Consultants are very responsive.
What do you dislike most about this product?
In my professional field I have found this beneficial for my company. But it's process are slow and takes time. Looks like an old type software which they need to upgrade and simplify the speed of process. Apart from that you won't get anything to ignore this tool.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend these businesses who have huge database and they need a solution to manage the huge database in a proper way and data modeling. I won't recommend to small businesses as it will be costlier for them and a lot of technical knowledge required to setup, operate, implement, etc. It provides full support for data modeling, data lineage and data governance. This product is deployed on-premises, and system and software requirements vary by specific customer scenarios. It helps to extract related diagrams from different database simultaneously.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?
In our company I have used this tool to fulfill our various requirements and provides varieties of features to simplify our processes. Through its drag-and-drop interface we can map our data frequently and use them in proper structure. It focus on leverage data as a strategic company asset to drive greater value and efficiency. It makes integration easy with SAP software as well as third-party solutions. It simplify the loves of your users and IT staff with a flexible, wizard-driven system for documentations and web based reporting. You can simultaneously take data models from different databases and create visual signs. Pricing is justified.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As I have experience it has fulfilled our requirements but not as fast as other similar products. It also looks like outdated and processes are very slow. Sometimes I also faced data corrupt issues here. So they need to follow up these loopholes to make their service more fast and reliable.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
My recommendation is according to your business type. If your business has less requirements or comes under small business group then it is not suitable for you. For small businesses ServiceNow PPM or Progress OpenEdge are the best to implement as they are less in pricing and easy to use. But when it comes to enterprises level businesses then SAP PowerDesigner is best in service, support and result. So you should check your requirements, budget before enrolling. Other competitors come with easy configurations and pricing.
