What differentiates Sakai from other similar products?
It features a sophisticated online community that works together to make it entirely functional. The neighborhood has created a user interface that is responsive and is working to adhere to all Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Sakai is a fantastic tool for both educators and students. The forums and message boards operate effectively and are simple to use. The organization and format of each course are excellent, making it simple to figure out and understand. Sakai offers a wide range of choices for setting up assignments, release dates, and end dates. The straightforward design of the grade book, which makes it simple to return students’ completed assignments, is another amazing feature. The option for students to attach a single, individual assignment or submit their work in a submission box is fantastic!
What do you dislike most about this product?
The fact that it is not as simple to use as an LMS like Canvas is what I dislike. The interface can occasionally be sluggish. Additionally, using the back button to return to the home page frequently only takes you to the first tab, making it challenging to navigate at times.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The fact that Sakai separates courses and lets your favourite ones so they show up on your primary dashboard is what I appreciate best about it. I particularly enjoy how each course has distinct tabs, each of which includes resources arranged following its purpose.

What differentiates Sakai from other similar products?
What makes Sakai different from other systems is its flexibility and ability to personalize learning.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
What I like the most about this tool is that learning through group collaboration and the exchange of information in real time using videoconferences is one of the best there is.
What do you dislike most about this product?
However, I would not like to see the system control panel overloaded with information, which can confuse and overwhelm users. It would also be beneficial if the Sakai LMS had more functionality for learning assessment and progress tracking.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
One of the reasons I can recommend this tool is because Sakai is very feature-rich and works well for many applications.
