What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's a nice feature to be able to share enormous files through link or registration and shared files may be password secured. We can also electronically authorize records and transfer them to third parties for signing. It is quite simple to configure files for signature, date, and capacity. Integrates with Outlook to transmit large email attachments that are too large for your or the recipient's application. The platform syncs between devices, allowing you to view your data at all times. Another significant benefit of this program is its high storage capacity.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Finding the list of records transmitted from ShareFile and determining their status without viewing the record might be difficult. One disadvantage I discovered was the lack of a file locking mechanism, which means that if numerous persons are reading and altering data at the same time, there is a potential of variance mistakes. ShareFile must become more lucrative, which means implementing more economical storage solutions.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

There are a few aspects, but ultimately the key one is value for money. We have a superb product available to us at a very very competitive rate. Functionality is exactly what you'd need and reliability can't be faulted. There are a lot of fileshare products on the market from all manner of companies. Citrix is a very well-established, trustworthy company to work with so company size, reputation and longevity also meant a lot for us when choosing this product.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The rate of innovation and any product updates offered are frankly slow. On the one hand I understand this as the solution is very well polished and presented as-is, and being a fileshare tool, what more do you really need it to do? On the other, offering updates would provide you with a sense that this company is not treating this product as a legacy tool but actually investing in it for the sake of customers and maintaining its leading position in the marketplace.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

As with all of my reviews, do your homework on what you need a file share product to do. This one is undoubtedly very robust and executes its purpose well, but do investigate that it does the things you need it to from day one. At first glance, functionality may appear limited, but dig deeper and you'll find it is comprehensive and powerful for what it does present.

What differentiates Progress ShareFile from other similar products?

Document sharing is faster than with any other program. It is critical for my clients, especially those who are unfamiliar with modern technology. Suitable for high-level file encryption operations, which are required for any company's security compliance. This is a major reason why we chose this SaaS. If we didn't need such a high level of security we could choose from a variety of encryption levels.
