What differentiates Progress ShareFile from other similar products?

sharefile works more effectively than competitors by providing in-built virtual data room features yet with preposterous pricing normally linked to them. in the event of a merger or a large-scale fundraiser, you can spin up a safe space with view-only access and watermarks with ease. it is a versatile workhorse of my firm.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

but the feature that i use most is the encrypted email functionality; the possibility of sending a secured message directly in the outlook and then making the person counter-authenticate the message is far superior to sending out zip files with the password encased in them. the version control feature is great, too; it stops people from working on the wrong contract.

What do you dislike most about this product?

external users would need to grapple with some software a learning curve, which may not be as familiar with multi-factor authentication or secure portals. frequent calls to clients who are stuck on how to log in would be improved with a little more effort on the guest onboarding experience.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

when you require a near universal secure file system to do all the daily email and big data room, this is the one. it is a good and useful tool that became an intrinsic component of my day-to-day work.

What differentiates Progress ShareFile from other similar products?

Simplicity is the best differentiator. Easy interface, no frills but this is a good thing!

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Quick access, great name so easy to recall when managing multiple VDRs across different vendors

What do you dislike most about this product?

Inconsistent notifications of new files. Again, not sure if this was a glitch

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure to have your notifications set from the onset, otherwise it is not a default feature to receive updates when new files are uploaded (missed a couple)
