Comprehensive HRM System with Good Value and ROI

What differentiates Paylocity from other similar products?
Make no mistake, most HRM systems offer similar features and tools to accomplish human resource tasks. Working with many vendors over the years, I feel that Paylocity has offered a good stable environment while making continuous improvements, while being an affordable solution. Price increases have been fair and are based upon size of your organization. Most features are true improvements that are helpful to aid in daily tasks and make your workday more efficient. The product looks professional to our employees and is simple for them to use.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
One of my favorites has always been time and attendance. I have used the product in various environments and it has been simple to implement and maintain this very important aspect of an HR system. Recently I have come to enjoy and respect the recruiting aspect of the software. Organizing hiring and helping communicate with applicants and potential employees has been a huge productivity boost to our staff.
What do you dislike most about this product?
With some many features and modules it can be overwhelming to learn and implement everything at once. Like any company, you will have an implementation team to assist you. I recommend taking your time and implement module by module over a period of time. One of the drawbacks, is the lack of follow through by Paylocity if you use this method of implementation.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Plan, plan and plan some more. Engage your staff in training and setting expectations. Take your time and implement modules over time to get them setup and working properly. You will benefit in the long run rather then getting overwhelmed in the short term.

Have the demos address all your pain points and special needs.

What differentiates Paylocity from other similar products?
I’ve worked with Paylocity, Paychex, and ADP, and Paylocity is by far the easiest to use—for both admin and employees. I also love that when I call, someone actually answers right away (no endless hold music!). Their customer service is outstanding and a big reason I’ve chosen to bring Paylocity into two different companies.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Payroll is very easy and customizable.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I don't like paying implementation fees on everything I want to add.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I wish the performance management portion was more flexible in the setup and features.
