What differentiates ownCloud from other similar products?

This is a platform for file storage that syncs your files with your computer or machines and saves them like Dropbox. They provide clients for Android, iOS, Mac, Linux, and Windows. A commercial enterprise edition with more functionality is available. You may add apps from a growing app store on your instance to increase functionality even further.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

On my server, I utilized it for a while, using the storage for my cloud hosting. The installation process was very simple, there were no hiccups or strange setup issues with my server (I was using BlueHost), and the user interface was clear and simple to use. The smartphone app was not something I bought, even though I would have liked to give it a try.

What do you dislike most about this product?

There were a few issues when I first uploaded them that I had to have my host figure out because I couldn't locate any OwnCloud instructions for them. It doesn't have a particularly solid support system because it's a free source.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Since OwnCloud is a WebDAV server, users of Microsoft software and other programmers may access its files by entering a web address. OwnCloud servers are available for on-site use. An excellent connection with internal tools is made possible through SSO authentication and custom branding.

ownCloud usability, ease of access, compatibility, ease of maintenance, robust security, its flexibility, and seamless integration was what made us settle to buy the software. They are always offering valuable services and we are very satisfied with the product. Not forgetting the ease of deploying the product.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

ownCloud is easy to use and stores all our files securely in the cloud. File sharing is seamless and enables the team to work efficiently in a central place. owncloud met our needs of integration with our business system. I love how it offers access to files through the web interface while at the same time we can view and share documents across different devices.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I have found viewing files using ownCloud to be not user-friendly.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

ownCloud keeps you in control of your documents. It is highly secure and affordable for all kinds of companies. I suggest going for another product if your company handles a large volume of docuemnts.

We chose ownCloud as it combines full data control with easy-to-use filesharing features while making collaboration more efficient and highly secure. It also offers a secure place to store all our files and thankfully it is cheaper in terms of compatibility, maintenance, security, and flexibility.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ability to access data while on the move is what we love about ownCloud. We can access any data using any device like Android or IOS applications. ownCloud reduces the amount of time spent searching for information and training new hires on procedures for updating documents by simplifying document and record archiving processes. It backs up our data where we have control on how often and when it will be done.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The color scheme could be improved to make it look more appealing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

ownCloud is cost-efficient and will give your organization control over data plus it will secure them which will bring more value to your business. It is a great tool with the ability to use mobile-ready features which was a big selling point for my team.
