What differentiates Oracle EBS Financials from other similar products?

Clean payroll system Procurement system provides full overview of the process allowing companies to keep track of progress. Integrates well with third party applications Produces useful transaction reports when interrogating the gl system

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Favourite aspect is the reporting tool for general ledger. The system allows you to pull a lot of data across which you can analyse to produce your management accounts effectively

What do you dislike most about this product?

The product contains a lot of screens and so it does feel like it takes more time than other systems. In particular the project accounting screen seems to take up more resources than when we previously used the GL system

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Ideal for large scale business that will want to integrate 3rd party systems due to its user-friendly approach. However SAP is a much cleaner experience

What differentiates Oracle EBS Financials from other similar products?

Oracle EBS FINS is a well established product which fits from an enterprise to small company. It has been chipped away by SAP FINS and other newer companies but is a trustworthy tool that has outlasted many competitors.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It works with so many other modules and all other Oracle software and hardware, you get the full stack. Support is also great.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't have much against EBS FINS. UI is somewhat old looking and gray, but that is customisable and easily changed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Plenty of sample and reviews of this product available, all for free. Oracle is very good at selling Oracle via free training as it is a great way of being mutually beneficial.

What differentiates Oracle EBS Financials from other similar products?

Not really much can be sold as a unique point for this software anymore. It's not really difficult to use and can face everyday tasks and some major scenarios as well. Company support also a plus.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The fact that it still manages to produce reliable data through various segments of the suite.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Feels like living in the past, look and feel has not evolved and little customization is allowed to really capture user needs. Not the most intuitive either.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure you verify all different options available before purchasing.
