What differentiates OpenText ALM Octane from other similar products?

For product planning, tracking, and support, my company uses ALM Octane. Analyses and reporting are also done using it. Through the whole life cycle of an application, it aids and promotes good quality delivery. From the moment sold solutions are deployed till the point of problem addressing, this software offers the user help.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I appreciate the perspective the application provides on the Quality and Pipeline module. It makes it simple for us to keep track of our automation requirements, look back on previous runs and problems fixed, and provide a prediction for how things will proceed. - Easy to use and friendly to users. Facilitates users' transition from waterfall to agile methodologies. Throughout an application's life cycle, providers provide support and visibility.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As there don't seem to be the same features accessible to track status on the user narrative level as on the feature level, monitoring progress on the iteration level would need a minor adjustment. After the sprints, we must have functions that allow us to follow the status of the user stories.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Recommend managing tests and large-scale software development. Analyzing the requirements, test cases, and tractability matrix was beneficial. MicroFocus has provided us with excellent help regarding the adoption of ALM Octane. When necessary, we have scheduled support meetings with MicroFocus SMEs and received assistance from MicroFocus R&D.
