What differentiates Okta Workforce Identity from other similar products?
Okta OS is such a simple SSO solution, I love it when our workplaces use it. As an employee, it comforts me greatly to have a central location for all of my often used tools and a single login for each of them. Okta OS offers a simple method that makes it easy for me to quickly handle a lot of programs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Because it is simple to use, monitor all security threats, and block them in real time to secure critical data, Okta is the most practical platform for our IT employees. It automates a wide range of products that make us more productive, and all of its features are easy to use and don't call for deep learning. It simplifies access decisions and boosts the effectiveness of IT procedures, which is what our company needs most.
What do you dislike most about this product?
This product has to be improved to become a more effective identity governance solution because the main issue is that workflows take longer to finish. SCIM setup, messaging, alerting, and above all, these systems must simplify things to make maintenance and management easier, are all areas where the system can be improved.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Its open standards and adaptable API-based interfaces enable us to easily adapt to new users and resources. It is also possible to reduce the cost of on-site system maintenance as well. With this more efficient and effective identity governance and administration technique, we can achieve seamless management across all hybrid and multi-cloud configurations. The fact that we can achieve regulatory, efficiency, and protection goals.

What differentiates Okta Workforce Identity from other similar products?
Compared to Azure AD, the question I ask myself is why do folks then use Okta. I haven't seen any clear advantage yet.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's fun to use, and makes you learn by troubleshooting.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It takes the long cut to do very basic stuff
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If what you really want Okta for cannot really be done by platforms like AzureAD, I wouldn't recommend using it.

Strong, comprehensive suite of tools and apps
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Okta Workforce Identity from other similar products?
The sheer breadth of apps and tools within Okta to help you manage all aspects of identity compliance and access authentication
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Single-sign on capability, without a doubt. Larger corporations will often have multiple apps and tools available for users and to have access to these managed by one authentication app with one sign-on requirement is extremely refreshing. As an end user this is great as you're not having to constantly remember sign-one credentials for multiple access rights. It makes for quick, easy and secure sign on every time.
What do you dislike most about this product?
In a typical corporate environment, this product can at times be heavy handed in its approach to safeguarding against rogue sign-ins. The thinking here is that this is to be expected, as the corporate environment needs to be protected. However as an end-user that just wants to get into systems and get on with their work, this can be cumbersome. Still, we're probably all familiar with Google (and similar) two-step or more authentications so it is an aspect of working life that we have become accustomed to, but I just wish it didn't trigger as frequently as it currently does.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Depends which camp you're in: procurement, IT deployment or end-user. For most end-users I think this is a very acceptable app for managing secure access, even if the UX is a bit basic and clunky. The same could be said for IT deployment, but I would imagine that the underlying functionality, flexibility and reporting options of the tool would far outweigh these user-facing issues.
Pros
- Reliable
- Includes Product Enhancements
- Security Protects
- Helps Innovate
