According to my perspective, Okta Identity Cloud’s key strength is simplifying authentication and identity management across systems. It provides a unified way to handle OAuth, SAML, and custom apps, reducing the need for in-house auth logic. Its centralized policies, adaptive MFA, and lifecycle automation help maintain strong security and consistency while saving significant engineering effort.

What do you dislike most about this product?

According to my perspective, Okta Identity Cloud can feel complex and expensive at scale, especially with many apps and custom policies requiring careful setup and governance. It can also create vendor lock-in since identity flows become tightly coupled to the platform, making future migration difficult.
