Great Concept - Needs A Lot of Work to be Useful
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Miro from other similar products?
There's a lot of different ways you can live-whiteboard with cross-functional as well as department-specific teams. That's both a good thing and a bad thing, as I don't think they've figured out how to actually make this productive. It's pretty noisy now with questionable productivity.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The concept - collaboration is hard in this day and age, especially with remote teams, global teams, and siloed teams... but this still needs work to make it efficient and productive.
What do you dislike most about this product?
As mentioned before, when actually using this ideation tool / whiteboard, especially with large groups of people, it feels frantic, disorganized, and unproductive. I have yet to come away from using Miro with a clear understanding of cohesive ideas.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
May be better for small, tight-knit teams at this current state, as it's distracting if used in any other setting.
Pros
- Reliable
- Security Protects
- Helps Innovate
- Inspires Innovation
Cons
- Less Effective Service
- Less Productive
- Less Respectful
