What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

Microsoft Teams is used in my organization for the following purposes: Several groups or direct file and text sharing via instant messenger are available. Video conferencing integration with other systems such as Jira - We don't use them because of company restrictions, but they are available, and I've requested a few that would have been useful to us. It's also been used to record video interviews. It offers a good overall user experience that is fairly consistent across desktop, web, and mobile applications. Audio calls - the quality is very good even when there are drops in video quality and when interacting with multiple locations around

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Microsoft Teams is my preferred workplace communication tool, despite its flaws. Its overall dependability and feature set are precisely what my colleagues and I require to complete our work. Specific scenarios include video, audio, and text-based collaboration with multiple people. Meetings, on-call activities (collaboration and troubleshooting), and interviews are all required components of the job. For system integration, we use Prometheus and Jenkins. They were both relatively easy to complete. Rich-text messages are being transmitted. I can format a message using tables, images, and code snippets fairly well.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When updates arrive unannounced and we learn about features by chance or through experimentation, this is an area where we need to improve quickly. Mobile app feature rollout appears to be ahead of desktop and web app rollout. However, this could be due to our organization's approach to Team management. By default, rich text copy and paste is required. While it works well in many cases, I'd like to see a "paste as plain text" option because it would make my life a lot easier when formatting pasted text in Teams looks terrible. Unpredictability and fluctuating performance. This can be annoying during a busy workday with lots of communication.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is preferable to receiving an email for some recipients. There are a plethora of system integrations. Can aid in ensuring a pleasant working environment. In general, screen sharing with shared control works extremely well. Remote/shared control does not work with "elevated permissions" Windows applications. Chat and Teams are the two main tabs. My coworkers and collaborators want to use only one tab, ignoring all channels configured in the "Teams" tab/section. Instead, they resort to ad hoc chats, as they are sometimes referred to. Searching in the history for an old message yields somewhat random results,so stick to recent communication
