Great Communication Tool!

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

I feel like Microsoft teams is it's own beast, that is a wonderful product in the Microsoft group of platforms that we use. We use Teams and Excel as our two most frequented services from Microsoft in our company. It nails the usability in chat and video conferencing, in just the ways that we need from the service itself. I feel like other platforms (i.e. Slack) are not as smooth with the delivery and capabilities in the way that Teams does.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love being able to open and integrate with ease, different files and communication methods all within the same Microsoft office app space. I personally feel like Microsoft makes it a "one-stop-shop" for communication, where other competing platforms do not provide the same integrating capabilities. Also, the amount of contractors in our industry who already have profiles and proficiency within the program itself, makes Microsoft teams a "no-brainer" in choosing this over other communication software.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only downside to teams that I have seen in my daily use comes with the notifications. Sometimes the notifications are slow to pop-up or load, and sometimes notification seemingly don't appear.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If yours is a company that uses the Microsoft office suite in your business practices, then Teams is a wonderful addition to your communications utility belt! It brings ease of integration in a way that emulates what Macintosh has done with Apple Hardware. Being able to access all of your files from the Microsoft Office Suite app, storing said files on the cloud, and then being able to access the same information from anywhere on handheld device or computer has been great for our company and our employees. It is smooth and evenly integrated, and acts as a home-base for our company's communication needs, from chat to conference call. 10/10!
