Powerful collaboration tool

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

The fact that the user can switch between conversations and collaborative work without needing to jump between different tools. It just keeps things organized and makes teamwork feel more connected and seamless.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The favorite part is just how smooth and reliable it is — plus, it gives me all the tools I need in one place. I can chat, share my screen, use the whiteboard, and schedule meetings without feeling overwhelmed. It just makes my workflow easier and more personal.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the updates come with changes I wasn’t expecting especially when the new version was launched, and it takes a bit to get used to. Also, some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can be a bit limiting.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you’re thinking of using Zoom, I’d say go for it — it’s super easy to get the hang of, really reliable, and packed with features that make meetings smoother and more interactive. Just take some time to explore the tools like breakout rooms, whiteboard, chat; they’ll definitely come in handy.

It's more than just messaging!

Likeliness to Recommend

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

Microsoft Teams has sought to centralize our internal operations, standing out for its invaluable contribution in preventing communication fragmentation across multiple platforms, achieving management in a single location. All our work teams now collaborate in a single place, regardless of their department, through meetings, documents, chats, tasks, and project tracking. It has allowed us to reduce many unnecessary emails and has helped us systematically streamline decision-making. It has allowed us to strengthen organizational culture in hybrid environments, where the team works in unison.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has become an essential tool for our team for daily collaboration. One of the most notable aspects I value most is its invaluable seamless integration into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, which allows us to open files in different formats, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, without having to leave the platform, allowing us to manage documents. This is undoubtedly a major advantage. Video calls are highly stable, with excellent audio quality, useful features like automatic recording, real time subtitles, and the ability to divide rooms according to the meetings we need to hold. The search function is excellent and allows us to track messages.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Although it's a robust platform, it can present some inconveniences along the way, especially on mid-range computers if your device hasn't yet been updated. Memory consumption and login delays can sometimes hinder productivity, as they significantly interfere with the platform's fluidity. The mobile experience represents a drawback, although it has seen improvements, as it still doesn't match the same fluidity as the desktop version. We are sometimes faced with an interface that is somewhat saturated with functions that are not easily visible or are poorly located, which hinders the learning process of the platform.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It's much more than a communication system, a chat, or a video calling platform. It has countless features and integrations, such as a planner for task management, a template for generating internal surveys, and Power BI for creating interactive reports, to name a few. Training your team is key to achieving good practices through channel organization, the correct use of mentions, topic segmentation, and other features. I recommend paying attention to the usefulness of setting up automated workflows and dedicating enough time to creating a solid structure within a robust and complicated interface to scale your team's growth.

Great All-in-One Tool for Teamwork

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

Microsoft Teams stands out because it puts everything in one place—chat, video calls, file sharing, and apps like Word and Excel. It’s especially useful if your team already uses Microsoft 365, since everything works together smoothly. You can chat, meet, share files, and work on documents together without switching between apps. This makes teamwork faster and more organized.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best thing about Microsoft Teams is that it brings everything together—chat, video calls, file sharing, and Microsoft apps like Word and Excel—all in one place. It makes teamwork easy and keeps everything organized.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The downside is that Teams can feel a bit slow or confusing at times, especially for new users. With so many features, it can be hard to find what you need quickly, and it may take some time to get used to the layout.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you're planning to use Microsoft Teams, it's a good option—especially if you already use tools like Word, Excel, or Outlook. At first, it might seem a bit confusing, but once you learn the basics, it really helps keep all your work and team chats in one place. Take a little time to explore how things work, and try to keep chats and files organized so it’s easier for everyone to use. A quick training or demo can help your team get started faster.
