calendar sync is perfect

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Microsoft Teams from other similar products?

how teams mirror my outlook calendar is the only reason i put up with it. i don't want to have two different apps. And when I accept a meeting in email – boom! It appears in teams with a 'join' button. the benefit over having a bunch of separate apps is the single schedule; i can't double book myself because teams knows when i am busy.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

i like the scheduling assistant. when i want to schedule a meeting with 5 people, it can tell me when EVERY one of them is free, saving the infinite email thread of "does 2pm work?". stacking my status to “do not disturb” actually turns off the notifications, letting me do deep work. automatic “out of office” sync is also awesome; if i set it in outlook, teams shows too.

What do you dislike most about this product?

the status light is not always right. itll say i am “away” when i have started a document on my other screen over here and it makes my boss believe that i’m not working. wiggle the mouse to stay "green.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

a requirement for all corporate citizens. it’s half of the battle, your controlling of time – and teams win here. i recommend this to admin staff and managers who live and die by their calendar.
