It's very hard to understand compared to tableau prep

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Nothing favorite only disappointment

What do you dislike most about this product?

Very hard to understand. What ever I do , I am not able to data prep. Either column get deleted or row get deleted

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Go with tableau prep instead

the performance will be slow when we handle a large data set, which can be challenging for users.

if automation is the priority, it provides additional tools like power automate

What differentiates Microsoft Power Query from other similar products?

Power Query distinguishes itself by allowing users to extract, cleanse, and transform data from different sources without creating a custom data process for each report. Being integrated into Excel and Power BI makes this product a convenient one to use.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I appreciate the possibility of saving repeated data preparation tasks and reusing them in the future. This way, users avoid doing the same things every time and have more time to analyze trends, performance, and business decisions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The problem I face in this case is troubleshooting complex transformation procedures and unexpected changes in source data. In addition, large data sets might require additional time for refresh.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

One should start by automating a periodic report and describing the transformation procedure. After that, one needs to validate the results and assign an owner for each data source and refresh schedule.
