What differentiates ManageEngine Endpoint Central from other similar products?

ManageEngine Desktop Central allows an IT Administrator to manage and interact remotely with the endpoints all over the infrastructure in a transparent way.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is the possibility to extract data about the software used in the infrastructure and deploy a wide range of configurations from a centralized platform

What do you dislike most about this product?

The support for the product is very poor and the training material doesn't help much

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

ManageEngine Desktop Central is a product with a huge potential. Simple in its base use but very powerful in the right hands.

Manage Engine Desktop Central is very versatile and offers great functionalities to manage the whole infrastructure

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It's very intuitive, easy to use and to manage

What do you dislike most about this product?

The support is not great and the KB can be vague sometimes

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Manage Engine Desktop Central is a very user friendly product that allows an IT Admin to manage and interact with the whole infrastructure with ease, the agent is not heavy and can be deployed massively without any problem. The only downside is the support in this case and the training material that is not very detailed.

What differentiates ManageEngine Endpoint Central from other similar products?

Personally i find this product really easy to implement test units as creating copy profiles is really easy

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It links in really well with ServiceDesk Plus and other areas of ManageEngine's products which for us was fantastic.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The MDM permissions can get a little confusing - even more so if someone leaves the company as you can remove them from the DesktopCentral system but still allows you to access the MDM side. Developers are aware of this issue after I made them aware and looking to resolve and streamline

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Look into the tiers they offer and try get the best one suited for you - If you speak with the rep they are very good at adding and removing certain parts of the software to make sure its best for you both practically and cost wise.
