What differentiates Laserfiche from other similar products?

TO be honest, I inherited Laserfiche when I started with my current employer 14 years ago. I was not involved in the initial decision to purchase this product and have no knowledge of the original goal with the purchase. However, I have grown to fully appreciate Laserfiche for document management and workflow processes. We rely on it heavily in our IT department for new user account form requests (Departments submit for new employee setup and select required IT components. I am currently working with other departments in the city trying to convince them to use forms and workflow to get rid of their manual/paper driven processes.This has been

I love the search capabilities, however, I don't admit to knowing all of the ways to use the different types of searches.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Ease of use! Not only for administration, but end users.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Set the product up correct from the beginning. Review best practices as it's easier to setup properly as opposed to having to correct after the fact.
