Best End to End Project Management Tool in market

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Issue tracking and product development progress tracking are simple using Jira. The capability to integrate with other tools makes it extremely scalable. Being supremely agile helps in planning, development, monitoring, and delivery very efficient. Jira offers great UI and easy navigation tools, making it most widespread across all IT companies. Task allocation, bug tracking, event monitoring, stories, and epics progress are all laid out under simple projects in Jira. The kanban integration makes progress tracking extremely visual and effective. The super admin has full control over the entire workflow, fields, design, and task automation.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Jira helps me keep track of all the issue tickets that have been assigned to me. The purpose of the dashboard is self-evident. All of your projects, allocated tickets, issues in progress, and favorite filters are kept in a separate section. You may check the status of your tickets right from the dashboard or the ticket details page. On the ticket details page, you can add a comment, tag someone, start/stop progress, change the ticket status using numerous methods, and much more. When you make a change to a Jira ticket, an automated email is sent to the appropriate person to let them know. They have appealing icons.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Initial configurations are extremely detailed and might take a lot of effort. Plug-ins are expensive, and Jira mobile app doesn't work as efficiently as the browser app. Sometimes popups behave unresponsive causing delays in sprints. It might take a while to learn Jira for first-time users. Jira sends too many email notifications thus spamming the inbox. At times the system feels too customizable and the flows can be very complex to set up. It is also not the prettiest system I've used but they are improving the UI all the time so I expect this to be less of an issue in the future. There is no direct way of defining a team's available capacity

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

We rely on Jira to manage the entire software product development process in my organization, from a project management view. A pivotal benefit of Jira to me has been the ability to customize the Jira software to align with our own unique software development and management process. This has really been helpful. Easy to attach video/pictures -which is very convenient for ticket description. Jira also helps in tracking issues which helps everyone involved be updated with the status of the bug/improvement. The greatest benefit that this software gave me was to noticeably improve teamwork and greater collaboration between teams.
