In a communications company like ours, where outages and technical issues can directly impact business operations, having a reliable, structured, and customizable issue-tracking system isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the biggest advantages of Jira is its adaptability to IT service management. We’ve customized it to handle everything from standard troubleshooting tickets to large-scale infrastructure upgrades. When our network team planned a company-wide VPN migration, Jira helped break the project into manageable tasks, assign responsibilities, and track progress in real time. On the support side, every IT request is logged, categorized, and prioritized, so nothing gets lost in an inbox black hole.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Jira can feel overwhelming if you don’t set it up properly from the start. Its flexibility is a double-edged sword—too many workflows, custom fields, or automation rules can make it more confusing than helpful.
