What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Jira is an end to end IT life cycle defining product. Any project could be fully implemented using JIRA and the status of the project could be clearly tracked at all instances.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The vast features that it offers. There are a number of statuses to which a request could be put into. The most recent status is defined as a part of ticket.

What do you dislike most about this product?

No formal training available on the product. User has to learn the product all by himself.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This product is good to for any organization that is process oriented.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

To be totally honest I haven't used a lot of similar software in the past. I guess we could compare it to Basecamp or Lighthouse. Those software have some of the features that Jira has, however Jira is much more powerful, has more features and it is highly customizable. The one thing where Jira could improve and where competition is better is the user interface.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The fact that it can be customized to every team's needs.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The user interface. It could seriously be improved.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Read online about it and check some screenshots. Speak with people who use the application on a daily basis.
