JIRA Atlassian for Agile Project- task management

Likeliness to Recommend

9 /10

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

- Jira is best suitable for advance Agile implementation and management. - Jira allows some add-ons and plugins compare to other project management tools. - Jira support real time release planning and other life cycle of product and agile so which provide clear understanding of process. - Provided charts and other features like Kanban and scrum board including bug management.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

-> Task management and task life cycle well managed having agile and Kannan boards. -> Reports and charts for Sprint -> Drag and drop facilities for task to manage task cycle from to do to on build and done etc. -> Third party software integration like git, bit bucket so you can create branch directly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

- As of now I like all features of Jira but one thing I don't like is customisable things for life cycle management, so different organisation uses different like cycle for task and story some are using todo, in build and done and some organisation uses more like in QA, QA, done etc. so its not same for all so sometimes if user is new then its hard for him/her to manage task.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

-> Just need basic understanding of Agile methodologies. -> little bit knowledge of JIRA task management terms and terminologies.

Pros

  • Performance Enhancing
  • Inspires Innovation
  • Security Protects
  • Helps Innovate

Great for organizing complicated workflows.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Jira has tremendously aided in the structure and monitoring of story and sprint progress, simplifying product management. Because everyone with access can quickly perceive the roadmap, it has made goal alignment easier and more efficient. One of the most significant advantages is the ability for the company to utilize the same tool for multiple departments. This eliminates the need to maintain several tools and saves time on the creation of new integrations.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Jira makes it simple to coordinate your whole workflow; I particularly like how simple it is to organize and update sprint planning. The ability to automatically move unfinished work to the new sprint is a useful tool. Our entire team can work together on our sprint responsibilities. The ability to pull tasks from our multi-role team allows leadership to monitor and track the amount of effort we put into making our clients successful. Prioritization is simplified with drag and drop. It is a great tool since it allows you to allocate tasks to different team members who may have diverse responsibilities in the company.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Because there is no Gantt chart view out of the box, determining the critical route is more challenging. Jira may be perplexing if not properly managed. Of course, this is most likely a human mistake characteristic rather than a result of your program, but it may be corrected. I believe the to-do flows should be better organized, and it would be useful to be able to organize them into folders or levels e.g. UX, Admin, Feature, etc. in the complete view, working with big groups may often be challenging and dirty.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Creating an uniform tool that can be used by several departments improves scalability and makes it easier for employees to eventually migrate to new sections of the business because they don't need to learn a completely new set of tools. Jira is ideal for small or divided team structures, but it may get quite chaotic if you have a big number of individuals working on random tasks rather than unique stories.

Pros

  • Helps Innovate
  • Performance Enhancing
  • Enables Productivity
  • Trustworthy

Great tool for product management.

What differentiates Jira from other similar products?

Tracking issues with various products in tickets allocated to various consultants, as well as tracking the state of product development and information on new releases. Jira is fantastic for consulting with colleagues before posting a query since you'll need to notify clients and college students about it. It has really aided my clients in overcoming all of their challenges, freeing up a significant amount of time for me to work on my problem with this business. You must complete the entry from start to finish for all roles concerned.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Jira includes capabilities that allow it to be utilized for a variety of reasons, and it also allows its users to accomplish these goals by executing complicated activities, making it a very strong solution. For the previous three firms I've worked for, Jira has been the go-to platform for collaborating and tracking bugs, problems, and technical advancements. I enjoy how simple it is to understand and apply to others. I'm also astounded at the sheer amount of plugins for all of these software, as well as the various latch and google apps designed to interact with other tools.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The sheer amount of tools is a wonderful feature, but it also has the disadvantage of steepening the software's learning curve and making it difficult to use unless the user is well familiar with its tools. We currently utilize narrative point evaluations, but more charts demonstrating our collaboration difficulties and weekly work hour differentials would be quite beneficial. It's fantastic to see that it interacts effortlessly with the Bitbucket service, but it'd be much better to have more feature-rich code incorporated into JIRA, which we can't see right now but require from Bitbucket.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Jira is a really strong tool that might be an excellent addition to your organization, but you need first determine whether it is truly what you require. If you're searching for a sophisticated project management online tool with potential expansions, I recommend Jira.
