What differentiates Jama Connect from other similar products?
I'm using the deployment of Jama in my organization to enforce good design thinking. Encouraging others to think about how requirements are derived and what constraints a project needs to execute an acceptable project.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Being a web tool is by far the most important aspect of the tool. That portability removes any need for update management and requirement server sync problems that are encountered with desktop applications in an enterprise environment.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We are waiting for the day when Jama Connect projects among various cooperative organizations (with separate instances of Jama Connect) can sync. Right now, our customers and vendors participate in Jama Review Center, but how do they import/maintain our requirements into their own projects in order to derive requirements, show traceability, and roll up verification progress?
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Unlike some competing products, Jama Connect is a quality stand-alone tool that is only improved (not ruined) by regular updates

What differentiates Jama Connect from other similar products?
Jama Connect is a the best project management tool. From the Design specifications / Requirements till the Test case reviews, for everything we are using it. Different teams in our organization are using it based on the customer requirement. Since Jama can be used as a complete project management tool, complete details of a product /project can be tracked in one place easily.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Mapping Requirements, Test runs with Test cases along with Version history Synchronizing Test cases across multiple projects Test case reviews Very flexible as per the process Nice tool for collaborating with external partners
What do you dislike most about this product?
Exporting can be better Online reports need customization features Search feature needs improvement
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are looking for a management tool to connect with teams and clients, a tool you can adapt to each project that allows you to work with many of them at the same time while also giving access to people outside of the platform...in those cases Jama Connect could be a good fit for your goals and requirements.
