What differentiates IBM Cognos Analytics with Watson from other similar products?

This platform offers a set of data analysis and visualization features that facilitate decision-making and improve productivity. It presents intuitive and agile solutions, the self-service capabilities IBM Cognos has allowed to develop reports, analysis and monitoring of budget objectives that improve performance and allow to obtain a competitive advantage. The data governance controls have been made totally necessary to maintain the quality of the data in our organization, providing all the security and confidence that we require.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has a nice user interface. Provides dashboards to track key metrics in real time. It allows to visualize possible future scenarios with effective statistical models. It is very fast to obtain visually pleasing reports with all the information required for real-time data analysis. It offers one of the best supports that exist, its responses to our requirements are always quick and concrete.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It has a considerable learning curve. After the update process some functions were not incorporated automatically.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

IBM Cognos is a high-impact analytical solution in our organization, it offers a set of tools that allow us to analyze and visualize data that facilitate decision-making. I recommend its implementation.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Among the most valuable features that IBM Cognos presents is its ease of use, the very user-friendly interface, and the large amount of available data that comes from different sources. It has an excellent ability to aggregate a large amount of data in one place, allowing for better visualization of key information. Automate everything including connecting to a large number of business applications in the cloud and databases.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The most notable disadvantage is the steep learning curve it possesses.

I recommend implementing IBM Cognos to drive your organization's business intelligence, improving performance and gaining a competitive advantage.
