Great performance and low level integration Really interesting out of the box funcionalities, reducing the time to market of our products

Price per license is a bit high, expecially the development licenses

If possible, dedicate time for making a prototype and proper testing of the solutions. Contract the training from the vendor in the firts steps of the project implementation

What differentiates Hexagon Geospatial Software from other similar products?
Full disclosure; I am both a commercial user and distributor for Hexagon software. I primarily use ERDAS IMAGINE and the M.App Enterprise suite. With my vendor neutral hat on, I use IMAGINE as it is so intuitive and easy to use. Similar software offer similar features but can be a bit toolboxy. IMAGINE guides the user through processes and allows a low/semi-skilled user to get useful results.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The Spatial Modeler. Without doubt the most intuitive and powerful graphical modeler in the business. This is available both in desktop products and within the enterprise suite for cloud deployment.
What do you dislike most about this product?
In common with most similar software, it crashes now and again. I wish it didn't, but there it is. It does have a good auto-recovery feature though, so that's nice.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Try it. There are evaluations available and while evaluating, make sure you try and fully understand the capabilities of the Spatial Modeler.
