What differentiates Google Forms from other similar products?

the other survey builders such as surveys monkey or typeform start charging you when want to do anything useful. In contrast, google forms is a completely different product and virtually everything there is free. it’s the best because it integrates so well into the ecosystem i’m already using. i don't need to sign up and learn a complicated interface. it’s easy to use, ultra quick and it doesn’t try to upsell me every five minutes.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

i love that it just populates the responses in a google sheet for you. it saves me so much time when it comes to entering data. the real-time collaboration is also a big win because my entire team can all edit the questions at the same time without overwriting one another. its actually surprisingly easy to set up logic branching for a free tool. i like the clean, simple appearance and that it doesn't distract from those filling in the form too.

What do you dislike most about this product?

its design and branding is slightly lacking. you can swap out the header image and a few accent colours, but it doesn’t become your high-end custom website.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

if you want a consistent enough way to capture data without a graduateschool-level learning curve or monthly fees, it’s the one. it's ideal for internal office surveys or simple customer feedback.

What differentiates Google Forms from other similar products?

Managed kubernetes, you can't beat gke. i've experimented with running clusters on aws and it seemed like i constantly had to wrestle the platform. it is so easy to deploy, scale and manage containers on google cloud. the autopilots mode is a life changer for smaller teams as it does all the node management for you. it really does allow us to just focus on our code and not the plumbing of the cloud.”

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The IAM is in fact logical. it’s simple to establish permissions across multiple projects without drowning in a sea of policies. i also love the cloud shell, and having a terminal with all of the tools i need right there and pre-installed saves me so much time when i want to make a quick change from another machine. it’s an incredibly thoughtful developer experience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The egress charges can be a little unpredictable if not careful. those costs can sneak up on them if you have a lot of data that goes moving out of the network.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For shops that tilt heavily toward containerization, no place is better than google cloud. gke is the best, pure and simple — it makes cvi execution easy!s

What differentiates Google Forms from other similar products?

As I mentioned, we switched from MS Form to GForm because GForm is more easy to share and get data. We integrated GForm to GSheet for our reporting and achieved to get a live reporting as an when a user input through GForm is received.
