What differentiates eSUB Construction Software from other similar products?
I do not know. eSUB was the only construction software I used while in construction within project management.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I did like the RFI and Submittal features. The tables were clear with the title, when it was sent (and when is expected for return), and the status, all without clicking too many times for that information.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I did not like the limit on file size when uploading documents. I had to use other cloud software to enable my subs to access large and important documents.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
RFIs and Submittals, incorporating the address book was extremely handy. It was quite easy to navigate and email the construction documents to the appropriate people on the project.

What differentiates eSUB Construction Software from other similar products?
Though this product isn't cheap, in comparison to its competitors it is quite reasonable. It may not have all of the extra bells and whistles that the larger companies have, but the features they do provide work well and aren't extremely difficult to use. Esub offers all of the core features that the larger, more expensive products use as their main advertisements. (i.e. scheduling, timecard management, document sharing, mobile capabilities, budget control, RFI's, email integration, and more).
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspects of this product are its ability to integrate my field employee's daily logs, timecard management, and labor allocation by cost code effectively. Though it took a little while to get the foundation for this set, it has been well worth implementing and streamlining this aspect of project control and management. The change order and rfi capabilities are also extremely useful, easy to use, and have a professional output!
What do you dislike most about this product?
The file management is definitely the least refined. They only offer one layer of file folders, so any new items you put in the file section will just be lumped with everything else pertaining to the general folder you set up. I still use it, but it often causes confusion in the field and doesnt get used as a primary source for project files. Though, Esub 2.0 is soon to be released and these issues will supposedly be resolved.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
This product is excellent for subcontractors who need to join the 21st century without needing to make any unreasonable commitments. It is a little tricky to implement depending on the technological capabilities of your employees, but overall it has been well worth it and a part of our daily operations. Also, Esub allows enough flexibility to start using the product and make changes along the way as you refine how it best works for you.
