What differentiates Dell Data Protection Suite for Archive from other similar products?

It's been a fantastic experience in every way. The various hardware and software appliances have all worked together flawlessly so far. With Data Protection Central, you can monitor the health of all your backups using either Networker or Avamar in one place. I appreciate the comprehensive approach to data security that includes archiving as well as ensuring that data is always available in any environment, be it physical, virtual, or cloud-based. Integrating with primary and protection storage platforms and hypervisors, EMC has also developed a range of enterprise applications.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Automated data backup and recovery across multiple IT environments is made easier and more efficient thanks to data integrity and inter cloud operability. NetWorker provides a wide range of options for protecting critical business information.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Disconnects between support and engineering in regards to appliance software updates have been the biggest challenge experienced so far. Most of the time, these disconnects are related to "at or near capacity" alerts that have no impact on the actual system operation, and thus cannot be updated. versions of the firmware that have been retired.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure that the DELL EMC team is aware of all of your requirements before the setup is complete so that they can ensure that your needs are met.
