What differentiates datapine from other similar products?
The product has a simple interface and enough charts to present various metrics, and help me in my strategic and operational process monitoring. I can create appealing dashboards and prepare myself for meetings much quicker but also automate reports, therefore, I have more time to focus on the data itself and other tasks. All the information on the dashboard is pulled in real-time so I don’t have to manually calculate values or lose time in Excel. I find this highly effective in my line of work. My clients are impressed with the product and the results I bring with interactive dashboards and reports, therefore, any business questions that arise, we can immediately answer.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
There are a few things, that I really like when using datapine: a) they have a lot of data connectors to connect all your different data sets easily b) a clean analyzer section where you can visualize your data via drag & drop c) powerful analytics features such as predictive analytics, conditional formatting or detailed comparisons vs different kinds of other time periods d) a bunch of dashboard templates, that help to build your own dashboard with a clean design e) interactive dashboard features to view your data from different perspectives and present your data in a really compressed format f) during the initial contact and onboarding their customer support was supportive and I felt really appreciated, even we are one of their smallest customers, I guess.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There are some features you need to get used to. For example, if you set up calculated fields the first time. There you have access to a lot of predefined functions that are a bit overwhelming at the beginning, but you get used to it quite fast.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It’s a great all-in-one analytics solution, that offers easy-to-use features for business users as well as some advanced features for data analysts. Also, it was really helpful to ask non-technical business users for their feedback already during the buying process, which was quite positive.
