What differentiates Confluence from other similar products?

Confluence helps to centralize team documentation and this for me, is important as a software engineer. Keeping vital work documentations on Confluence, makes them easily accessible from anywhere and keeps them organized . Moreso , Confluence provides my team with important version history for all documents saved.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Confluence integrates with Jira, in a way that no other knowledge management software does. As a result of this, it is simple to connect assigned tasks on Jira with corresponding documentations on Confluence or even create a list of requirements for a project on Confluence and link them with tickets on Jira for smooth implementation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

With Confluence, I dislike how slow it becomes when I am accessing or working on files with large data volumes. Also, I dislike that by default the absence of an inbuilt data visualization feature limits me , when I need to interpret data using charts, tables or graph for better digestibility.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Important for adopting teams to properly ensure that their current team workflow does align with their intended Confluence implementation and use,
