What differentiates Clarity from other similar products?
Clarity platform essentially provides wide range of features namely - Clarity Project creation, tasks creation, resources alignment to the tasks, timesheet submission, resource planning, self service with staffing, work request submission, MI reporting, accessing security views etc. This helps Project Managers and PMOs to manage the budget effectively.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Clarity when integrated with Workbench can effectively give a clear report of the resources who've charged into the project, the time that has been logged for any work done which collectively helps to understand the budget consumed and the remainder cost for consumption.
What do you dislike most about this product?
With popular platforms like JIRA and Rally which provide ultra-wide range of capabilities for software lifecycle management, the tools like Clarity gets out of the league given the fact, the tool is more off focused on the budget management, project's tasks tracking but not at excessive granular level details of tracking. Hence one has to rely on either excel based tracking, or platforms like JIRA, Rally etc. hence causing additional costs and dependencies.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Overall, the tool is widely trusted and is useful for effective budget management of the Project however there is a great scope of enhancement that should be considered for a great effective use of the platform by organizations.
