Scanning inbound & outbound emails in real time

Likeliness to Recommend

10 /10

What differentiates Cisco Secure Email from other similar products?

When I first started using Cisco Secure Email, it was called Email Security and for the years that I've used it, I am yet to find its match for the following reasons: first of all, I felt like our network was impenetrable via email for the fact that all inbound emails, as well as outbound messages were scanned thoroughly. The multi-layered defense is unique in its kind, providing threat intelligence in real time, when it comes to email attachments.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I absolutely love the multi-factor authentication, making it almost impossible for a hacker to access an employee's email account remotely. The domain protection features are great also: having DMARC configured and enabled really gives this enhanced level of protection. Last but not least, threats are sandboxed and quarantined with the real-time malware block, making it virtually impossible for a network to be tampered.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The pricing might not be appropriate for small businesses and there are actually quite a number of complex configurations to be performed, requiring an IT specialist or team.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Whether you are looking to enhance your level of protection for your email services, be it on-premises, in the cloud or hybrid, Cisco Secure Email provides a solution for all of these. They are amazing when it comes to advanced malware protection as well as phishing protection. They can easily spot a suspicious file as well as suspicious behaviors, thanks to their machine learning tools. For all these reasons, I recommend Cisco Secure Email.
