What differentiates Backup Exec from other similar products?

Instead of the complicated workarounds in other backup software that I have already encountered, it assists in data restoration with regard to any application or file server with ease and minimal latency. According to the needs of the concerned server's stakeholders, scheduling the jobs only once and automatically is another excellent function.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Veritas backup software has a user-friendly interface and is safe, secure, and highly secured with all capabilities, including cloud storage protection. The main feature of this application is how simple it is for a brand-new user to activate, schedule, or recover backups with just a few clicks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only time I have an issue is when new versions undergo significant changes. The majority of people are accustomed to and rely on the core functioning; while adding new features is good, don't change it! I never had any big issues with the current iteration.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Every organization should use it as a great tool for backup solutions. It is an excellent and dependable tool for performing this. You may work without stress and save your information. Thus I would like to propose this platform to anyone who wants to operate in a secure and trustworthy manner.

Successfully taking the mail archive backup on the application.

Lack of training and difficult to manage through the interface

Although it was a successful application at first, it is now lagging behind its competitors. If it does not develop very quickly, it will not be preferred.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I was happy to see that although having additional functionality for contemporary IT, this version was still simple to use for our daily file backups. I have successfully backed up and restored a server on Hyper-V using backup to disc in addition to backup to tape. We are on version 2022 right now, which resembles version 2021.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The software occasionally stops responding. After being duplicated to another media, it is impossible to remove a backup in the simplest way. Even if the destination storage is in the same place, performing a backup to a server in a distant location is quite challenging in terms of bandwidth.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

In particular, if your business employs legacy hardware, I would strongly advise any IT staff looking to upgrade their current system to consider our backup/restore solution. It has always satisfied my needs during the many changes over the course of the many years I've used it.
