What differentiates Appium from other similar products?

Appium is the industry standard for automating the testing of mobile applications. It has integrations into many different frameworks to accomplish this.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease of setup and integration into Android Studio products - the Appium Inspector make it so easy to identify locator strategies for interacting with apps.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing really

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Look at all of the different frameworks (webdriverIO, UIAutomator2, etc) to ensure you pick the one that works best for your situation. (android/ios/etc)

it is light weight and programming is similar to selenium which was already used here

What do you dislike most about this product?

desktop automation support is not very good

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

appium is a good tool for mobile automation support but for desktop automation support you may have to take calculated steps
