I would compare Zoom, with other platforms of the same nature Cisco Webex, it is a video conferencing app that has been on the market for a long time, it offers a very good free version that is worth reviewing, especially since it has expanded the functions of the premium version from 50 to 100 participants.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is a free application that has a series of payment plans that extend its functionalities. In general terms, it works as a streaming platform supported by the cloud that allows real-time video calls, where the main difference lies in the fact that Zoom allows you to save the conferences or conversations that take place in it.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the Internet goes down, interrupting online meetings without warning, in whole or in part: It also happens that software programs have difficulties or someone may experience technical problems with their laptop.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You must allocate a budget for hiring the tool, in case you choose a payment option. Today more than ever, they are a worthwhile investment for organizations of all sizes, especially as remote working around the world is practically becoming a business law that they cannot ignore.

What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?

Zoom differs by its functions that are far above any other similar program. Anything you can do in a video call, Zoom allows it, you can use your camera, change your background, place the cameras of the guests as if you were giving a conference, you can share screen and even place videos without audio problems, you can communicate by chat in case of not having a microphone, you can use whiteboards and their tools to point out. Everything that can be done in Zoom is incredible, you can even have a third person in charge so that together with you they are offering help to people during meetings.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the option of being able to create work groups and distribute them in rooms, I find it very helpful to devise plans or to make proposals. With this function we should not expect that we are all present in an office, but thanks to the virtuality that Zoom offers we can live the experience of planning as a team while maintaining social distancing, but without losing communication since we can write, share a screen or use the microphone, in this way collaborative work is done efficiently from our homes.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As a disadvantage, it seems to me that the screen sharing function could be improved, especially when we want to view video from some internet platforms. Although it is usually very good, sometimes I have problems with the audio or with the quality of the video, perhaps it is internet problems, however, I have good internet and this has happened to me even when I want to share music through the screen sharing function .

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I recommend the use of Zoom, since the truth is that it is not complicated to use, it only requires practice to know and locate all the functions, otherwise it offers a quality service that gives you a pleasant and satisfactory experience when scheduling meetings. In addition, you don't have to create meeting links all the time, you can save your link so that your friends or co-workers can enter your meetings easily.
