What differentiates Zoom Workplace from other similar products?

Since we have been using Zoom, remote work and flexibility of time and space has been viable, it has helped us to never stop our work operations and always have a faithful means to maintain our communication. Likewise, it is part of our daily life, since we can do business with clients and partners much further away and distance is not a limitation, it allows us to project projects from our devices or place whiteboards if we need to explain something in a different visual way. Without a doubt, it is a fantastic tool to stay connected, make better alliances and advance projects collaboratively.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Zoom's interface is interactive and agile, offering a variety of tools that make it dynamic during our work meetings. We loved its level of accessibility because it gives us the possibility of connecting from wherever we want, either from our computers in the office or on our phone from wherever we are. We can fully trust the Zoom platform and its fast connection, ease of use and flexibility when connecting and creating rooms to connect to create projects remotely. One of the most useful functions is sharing screens or using whiteboards, it is easy to use, interactive and complements remote work.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The response from customer support has not been what we expected, it is slow and does not give us accurate solutions, it has been difficult to communicate correctly with them. Automatic updates interfere with our work and have made me late on some occasions to meetings, it would be nice if they were scheduled in advance to be able to foresee any incident. It also consumes a lot of bandwidth capacity and space on our devices, it is a slow platform and that can become a problem.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Zoom is one of the best tools on the market to habituate a workspace from wherever you are! It is reliable, dynamic and bold.

It feels as though there are less glitches with this system than others I have used

It is widely used by many, which is why we switched to it as it feels more universal

It has a very dated look/feel to it

This is a very basic video conferencing software, but has many capabilities to run a successful meeting and facilitate when you cannot meet in person.

Its standout features include breakout rooms, virtual backgrounds, and high-quality video and audio, making it ideal for everything from casual calls to professional webinars. Plus, it’s highly scalable, catering to both small teams and massive conferences effortlessly

The breakout rooms are my favorite. They’re perfect for small group discussions during larger meetings, and they’re easy to set up and manage!

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike how file sharing and polling tools feel a bit outdated and clunky compared to other platforms. They could be smoother and more integrated for a better experience.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you need a reliable and user-friendly platform for virtual meetings, Zoom is a great choice. It’s perfect for hosting everything from casual chats to professional events. However, if you rely heavily on collaboration tools like whiteboards or advanced file sharing, you might want to pair it with other tools to fill in the gaps.
