What differentiates Trellix Endpoint Security from other similar products?

What differentiates Trellix Endpoint Security from other similar products is the way it connects endpoint data with everything else. I work on embedded software at Ford and we have dev servers, test benches, cloud builds all over the place. Trellix gives us one place to see threats across all of them which saves us so much back and forth.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of this product is definitely the machine learning part. It caught something weird during a build pipeline once that didn't match any known malware. Our security team was impressed because it stopped it before it could mess with our firmware images.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Honestly not much. Maybe the initial setup took longer than I expected but that's probably on our IT team not the product.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Think about your environment first. If you're a small setup it maybe an overkill. But if you have complex infrastructure like we do at Ford then it's worth the investment.
