What differentiates Tidio from other similar products?
Tidio offers a very simple, clean, robust and customizable interface on both their backend and website that helps facilitate live chat support on a website. They offer numerous features, provides easy access to a visual authoring interface to customize and create bots that can be activated to do virtually anything. Tidio provides simple templates, which you can then customize to suit your needs, and the bots can be triggered anywhere you want; a visit to a specific page, every time a new person visits your site, every time someone clicks on the chat window, and so on. All of that can be accessed on a limited basis, for free of course.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The free tier is awesome and a smart way to engage people and provides good basic services including, most importantly for me, the Chat Bot. Tidio is fully customizable, powerful and is reasonably priced. You could easily end up paying 5 times as much on some of the more exorbitant chat platforms without getting more value. The ability to connect other business chats like Messenger or Instagram offers incredible possibilities to be able to give attention to your potential customers.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would add integrations with apps like WhatsApp and Telegram. One of the things I struggled with was keeping the lines connecting each action of the Bot straight. It took me a considerable amount of time to move them around and make sure they had the right spacing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Tidio has helped me address an unknown in my communication system caused by prolonged use of multiple inferior chat bot platforms that limited performance and certain responses. With Tidio, I have seen a dramatic increase in the number of people connecting with our team via chat and have been able to help address the questions and issues of the people I work with faster than ever before. Plus, the price is affordable for all of its features.
