What differentiates TalentLMS from other similar products?
Thi is a small firm that provides training services for larger companies. The specific need we had was to build a learning system on top of a proven LMS that we could use internally and to provide services to our customers. Only Docebo and TalentLMS were the options we saw as a good fit, and TalentLMS's easy of installation and customization was what made us go for it. Since then, we've been able to create and setup most of our curriculum at a faster pace we thought we would, and we have gotten great feedback from our customers on how easy it is for their teams to access it and learn.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I would say customer centricity. Everything is designed so that your experience as either an admin, an instructor or a student is easy and simple.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The cost can be steep based on how it's structured. We had to jump from the free version (which we used to test), to a up to 100 users pricing, and then move up to up to 500 users, and the cost though it does scale down as you go grow, had an impact in how we planned our year. It was not bad, it actually forced to sell more training services, but it would help if they had more tiers.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Definitely try it out. It doesn't matter if you're building something small or large, TalentLMS's scaling capabilities are very straight forward and to the point. It's worth the evaluation, and it ends up being cost-effective. Tracking ROI against this investment was very easy!
