My favorite aspect of the Splunk and AppDynamics integration is how it bridges a critical visibility gap. Instead of having isolated teams staring at separate screens one for infrastructure metrics and another for application performance it creates a unified story. You can start with a business transaction slowing down in AppDynamics and, with a few clicks, pivot directly into the corresponding Splunk logs and infrastructure data.
