The software is perfect for IT teams that need to combine management with detailed technical monitoring. I think the major difference is Smartsheet is a very complete solution.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I create detailed timelines with integrated Gantt charts, which are ideal for software development projects or cloud migrations. I automate flows for agile sprints, assign tasks to devs and receiving real-time updates. I allocate resources (team, servers, budgets) to project with workload tools, avoiding bottlenecks in IT teams. I create dashboards with technical KPIs to inform stakeholders without long meetings.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Smartsheet not support advanced charts for big data analytics or machine learning. Also, configuring webhooks or APIs requires programming skills, a challenge for non-technical teams.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

You must to prioritize critical bugs using custom formulas and assign solutions to support your teams. Use conditional alerts to notify when metrics such as CPU usage exceed critical thresholds. Leverage technology roadmap templates to plan product releases.

I like the sorting capabilities and organizing functions.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing...I love smart sheet for tracking deliverables. I use this in place of basic excel.

Take all the training so you can take full advantage of all the functionalities.

What differentiates Smartsheet from other similar products?

Process automation has led us to close new businesses, add our team to new projects, and innovate in the different areas of our company. The team now coordinates much more efficiently since we have the collaboration functions, scalability of the sheets, automated data collection, customization, and configuration, all of which is a compendium of possibilities for saving time, money, and has even allowed us to improve our annual ROI. Another positive point is the ease of carrying out collaborative work as a team, this being a fundamental part of our daily work to follow the workflow and coordinate the parts of our teams in the departments.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Smartsheet has allowed us to manage our projects and follow a line of work very efficiently from day one. It provides an interface packed with tools that has allowed us to automate work processes, from information collection, data analysis and report preparation, which is a comprehensive management of different work projects. Smartsheet is an easy-to-use platform, our work team has easily adapted to each function and any new features from the support team and the support material provided in its library have been the necessary support to improve and facilitate our navigation on the platform.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Our work team has adapted perfectly to the functions provided by Smartsheet, it has facilitated our work, it has been easy to use, it has automated various processes, integrated our work team and even customer support has always been attentive. Every part of the platform has been exactly what we needed, so I can't find any negative aspects to highlight; when something fails, an update is always there to fix it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I understand that with so many tools, Smartsheet can become an overwhelming tool, but it provides each and every one of the possibilities to correctly understand the function of the entire platform. My recommendation is to get more information about the entire function and thus facilitate the integration process.
