What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

Slack allows and encourages employees to interact with one another more: asking questions, reviewing more frequently, sharing interesting articles, and so on. It promotes community and facilitates communication. While email is more customer, Slack keeps a company's internal team connected.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease with which I can communicate with others and promptly discuss issues. Great for synchronous work, particularly for distant teams working in different time zones. I also appreciate being able to set reminders to revisit a topic or contact someone at a later time. It aids in the organization of discussions and ensures that the appropriate individuals are included.

What do you dislike most about this product?

When there are too many individuals in a gathering, it's easy for items to get buried. I also dislike the fact that we are unable to include gifs in threads. Only ordinary channel messages can contain such. This issue should be resolved in future editions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would suggest Slack to those who want to boost their productivity and decision-making efficiency in their organization. However, if you also want this program to meet your video conferencing needs, please look into it. It is the market leader in social collaboration and is fantastic at it.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

It provides functionality and can be used in place of email, text messaging, and instant messaging. It synchronizes all data across its web, desktop, and mobile apps. This enables communication/collaboration on the go, literally anywhere and at any time.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Slack is an essential part of our project workflow and allows developers, project managers, and clients to communicate in a collaborative environment. I'm very pleased with my overall Slack experience, and it has all of the features we wish we had in communication software. We reduced the number of emails we exchanged after we started using Slack because we could always search for an old message within Slack.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The only thing I would change is that when I look at an attachment and choose to enlarge it, I have to maximize Slack's window to see it in full size. I'd like the attachment to enlarge beyond the size of Slack's window. Otherwise, it's the best tool and needs no more improvements.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you want to use Slack to do meetings and real-time chat it's perfectly made for you. As it is chat-based communication software so its video conferencing capabilities aren't as robust as other tools but you can integrate it with Zoom, BlueJeans, and other video systems if you need something more advanced.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

Easy to manage conversations. You can continue the thread of a message, so the flow of conversation is easy to understand. There is also a feedback function, so frank communication is possible. Huddle's screen sharing allows typing on the other party's screen, which perfectly supports the business scene. The ability to invite outsiders to the internal workspace is good (single channel guest, multi-channel guest). It is really convenient to be able to communicate with outsourced companies that can only be contacted by email or phone using internal tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is used as a communication tool within the company and with other companies, but the reaction speed is fast and the threads are easy to see. There are also many reaction icons, which facilitate communication. It is used as a way of operation and maintenance contact with other companies that are outsourced, and it is possible to quickly communicate with each other in case of maintenance or failure, and the speed of work is significantly improved compared to email.

What do you dislike most about this product?

API that can be linked? As there are many cases, sometimes they suggest it, but I do not know how to use it at a glance and I'm always canceling, so I do not have to look at the manual.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is very convenient because it can quickly communicate with the outside world and can be used anytime and anywhere because it can be accessed from a smartphone. As a business use scenario, it is used for communication with outsourced companies, and it has become more seamless communication than exchanging emails. In addition, the response from the other party occurs within 24 hours, and the response that used to take more than a day has been improved.
