What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

Slack now enables me to connect and collaborate with professionals outside of my organization. Within my department, Slack is gradually replacing official emails for collaboration with off-shore work groups. Communication via Slack, unlike email is a lot more informal and we simply get more done this way.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Quality of customization on the Slack software is just unprecedented. I am able to customize alerts, from muting notifications for specific channels which are unimportant for my day to day work , to disabling notifications across all channels altogether. I am even able to silence my notifications on specific hours of the day.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Is there a way to leave a channel without every member of the channel getting notified? This happens to be the sole area of dislike for me , with Slack.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Slack as a software is well suited for project based collaboration and communication. From my own experience, Slack has been integral to the success of in-house projects than any other communication program , we 've tried our hands on.

We have been using the Slack group messaging service for some months in our company and the results have been excellent, the tool has a series of functions that facilitate group communication in each area of our company, keeping the information of the projects circulating in a simple way which provides greater effectiveness when solving problems, inconveniences, or sharing ideas that can be beneficial for our projects.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is possible to publish graphics and files that can be shared facilitating the productivity of each of our workers and keeping the ideas in a tool that centralizes all the topics and debates that are discussed in our offices, Slack has facilitated the way in which we transmit our information from point to point, in a safe way and in a platform that demonstrates a lot of stability day by day.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is logical that it is mandatory to have internet connection to use the tool, however, we would like to have some of its functions while we are offline, which would be quite helpful to be able to give continuity to projects in places where we can not get a good quality internet connection. It does not yet have the ability to record meetings, which we hope will be integrated soon since we use it as minutes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The tool fulfills what it offers and is an excellent alternative to centralize conversations and meetings in companies, with a price quite adaptable to business needs and a very dedicated customer service system, which help to solve problems almost instantly. The updates are constant, keeping the platform free of errors and increasing productivity in companies.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?

Productivity has significantly enhanced due to creation of specific channels for various project and team activities, where participants may interact effectively. Sending audio recordings and videos, tagging individuals in comments, commenting in threads, posting links, and adopting Slack's dark mode make it easier on the eyes and facilitate better team collaboration. I adore all of these things.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Installing it on the phone will make it simple for me to monitor the messages and participate in meetings. May communicate with customers and partners without being concerned about privacy. Can make judgments more successfully with the help of polls. You can create a folder to organize the disorganized channels. A feature called "INSTANT MESSAGING" is accessible. Using the "@MENTIONS" option also simplifies messaging. Mention someone effortlessly when speaking to a group. Numerous "3rd party" plugins are available.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is awkward, and the user interface could be better available. It tends to get confusing because it already has a dated appearance, especially if you have several chats going on at once. Every time I turn on my laptop, the program launches. Even though I tried, I could not locate where I could disable this.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It may be integrated with a wide range of office equipment. Channels can be made. File sharing among your peers is simple. Emojis and icons give it a beautiful look and feel, and it is simple to use, fast, and compatible with any device. It works well with a wide range of productivity software—tools like Pipedrive, Sheets, Docs, Asana, Trello, and Jira. Slack turns into a central location for teamwork and productivity.
