What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The thing I like is the breadth of the platform. Semrush covers SEO, content, backlinks, competitor analytics, paid search, and other areas, so I don’t have to constantly switch between different platforms. There are definitely a lot of features to learn, but once you get comfortable with the interface, it becomes a very useful part of the everyday marketing workflow.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The minor frustration is that some data can require additional context before it becomes truly useful. Marketing teams often decisions are rarely based on single metrics, so it would be helpful to have more explanation around how different numbers should be interpreted together.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

The important recommendation is to use Semrush as a decision- making tool rather than simply a source of data. It is easy to spend hours looking at keyword volumes, competitor rankings, backlinks, and traffic estimates without turning those insights to action. The real value comes from using the information to identify opportunities, prioritize campaigns, improve content, and make better marketing decisions. And I would definitely make use of the competitor research capabilities.

It is not only an SEO tool. But a comprehensive tool which provides insights into Organic as well as paid search,/advertising, Market Research etc. It also allows higher Daily Limits compared to most other similar tools.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like the rich competitive intelligence that it provides. It gives a detailed breakdown of a business's traffic. It is a very powerful tool for market research which can help understand a company's user acquistion funnel.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Semrush is quite expensive. My team has just one license for 1 user. And it is really frustrating not to be able to try it hands on a regular basis. the cost multiplies rapidly for small businesses.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

It is a great tool to have especially for Market research. Even though cost is a bit high, it can replace the subscription costs of many other Marketing Tools subscription. My advise would be to utilize the trial period very efficiently to decide whether it meets your requirements.
