What differentiates SAP Business One from other similar products?

SAP Business One Professional has good features and flexibility overall, but is designed as an "old school" enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. It may be too complex for many users especially small to midsize businesses (SMBs).

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Extensive customization available. Underlying SAP HANA database allows for complex business analytics. Microsoft SQL Server also available. Includes Crystal Reports for custom reporting. Excellent documentation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Initial configuration and installation usually requires partner or expensive Value Added Reseller (VAR). Extensive customization necessary. Only supports Mozilla Firefox browser; testing failed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Can handle multiple currencies. Benefits administration module.

What differentiates SAP Business One from other similar products?

Generating integrated reports with real-time data and displaying them in various report formats to gain an overview of what matters most to our business, whether I am using a desktop or mobile device

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Improves audits by letting me view information trails, match documents and handle multiple currencies. Lets me view purchase analyses and account balances ansld maintain purchasing data, including tax data and price lists

What do you dislike most about this product?

Limitation to customize the dashboards and it offers lightweight Human Capital Management functionalities. They need to consider providing more human capital management functionalities so that they can be performed without interfacing with other system

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I strongly recommend this solution because it's features support almost all critical management tasks thta help users organize and streamline their processes

One thing that differentiates SAP Business one from others is the fact that the overall integration between the process, risk management, and access controls helps in unifying department functions effectively

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect about SAP business one is its effective way of data management and cloud data storage capabilities

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is quite difficult to understand and start using the product from the get-go. A learning curve efficiency is required

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

For better automation of audit process and for an overall integration, SAP Business One is very much recommended.
