What differentiates SAP Business Network from other similar products?

It provides a level of transparency and accountability that is hard to achieve through traditional procurement methods.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

being able to track the status of our capital equipment orders from the factory floor to the final installation at one of our branch offices. This visibility helped us navigate a major supply chain disruption last year by allowing us to identify alternative shipping lanes and adjust our project timelines accordingly

What do you dislike most about this product?

many of our best local maintenance firms are intimidated by the technical requirements of the SAP environment and the costs associated with joining the network.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Be prepared to act as a facilitator to help your key vendors understand the long-term benefits of the collaborative network
