What differentiates Sales Navigator from other similar products?

The difference in my opinion is that LinkedIn data is very real life. It has profiles, roles, company info and industry details that makes targeting better in its own integrated network. Here I have more confidence that it is indeed the correct audience and I'm actually reaching out to the right prospect clients. Sales Navigator brings me from discovery to outreach in one place. With alerts and saved searches, I could perform all of my sales outreach within its network.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite thing is lead search combined with the right targeting of the audiences. I search on a daily basis, apply filters, then view the results. Fields like titles, seniority, company size give me precision while targeting a specific set of audience.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The thing I dislike the most is the pricing. The subscription feels quite expensive especially when you are just doing basic use. Another problem is the setup and mastery of filters is not easy. Some options are confusing at the start. I used to apply the wrong filter repeatedly in the first days, then it takes time to understand the correct structure.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If your role is sales generation and you want targeted outreach, consider Sales Navigator. But first, think about how much daily lead search you’ll do with it. I’d suggest creating 2-3 saved searches during the trial, then understand the usage of account lists and alerts. If you follow the process, the value will really come out. Otherwise, the subscription can be a waste and then you’ll regret it.
