What differentiates Planview ProjectAdvantage from other similar products?
It is a software program that aids in the end-to-end management of a organizational portfolios, from budgeting and resource allocation to product life cycle management. We are preventing future issues from arising by finding solutions to them now. Before the problem even arises, I can handle my fear and calmly come up with a solution.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Planisware excels at integrated timetable and resource management, which is its main focus. Other features it offers include some light monitoring and process management, but the majority of implementations are made to enhance the capability of resource and timetable management. A skilled admin team can build numerous fascinating capabilities right out of the box and spend as little money as possible on bespoke work thanks to the configuration's robust configurability.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Future releases should make improvements to integrations. For the purpose of downstream reporting, we specifically want to support high performance and nearly real-time access to the data. Planisware's bulk data movement connectors are still restricted to simple file-based interfaces.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Even though it is a fundamental requirement, having a single location for our New Product Portfolio's business data has been crucial for our company. Instead of needing to combine several out-of-date Excel sheets into one study, we have simplified and improved efficiency by extracting data directly from the system to complete analyses.
