What differentiates Oracle NetSuite ERP from other similar products?

Being a cloud-hosted system makes maintenance and support much easier. It allows for a lot of customization for our needs, so it can grow with you as your business scales. You can modify it as much as you want to adapt it to the particular needs of your company. You can write javascript inside it to fully automate so many business processes and apply business logic. If the company did not have internal IT support, NetSuite has that coverage as well. If the company would also like to have a NetSuite expert on their payroll, NetSuite does not hide their source code and can teach their administrators how to use and create procedures for the indi

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that you can customize the general ledger processes to suit a variety of operational and financial requirements. I love that the user experience is very consistent and intuitive, making NetSuite training quick and easy. I like that you can add different modules/components as your business needs them. I like that we have also developed many customizations, automations and even new modules that integrate with the native processes. I like that it has modules that work together to manage everything from sales quotes to billing to purchasing to financial reporting. I love that it can be customized for the client's trading platform.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It is very complex to handle and the configuration is a long and tedious process. But once you get past the initial learning curve, there are plenty of automations you can use to reduce your manual workload. Reporting needs to be simplified further, for example we need to create payroll reports; however, we are unable to create custom reports for state or third-party reporting. The platform may seem bland and not as modern as other ERP or CRM platforms, but it's really not a big deal.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

1) Since it cloud based, you can use it from anywhere and on any device 2) Saving on installation and maintenance cost 3) User Interface is nice, you can customized your Dashboard. Streamlined our billing process and made things a lot easier across all our various vendors. Customization was always a plus. It would cost extra but it seemed like there was always a custom solution available. Take the time to understand the product and become well versed in how it works. It will make things easier for yourself down the road. Netsuite is a complex system that requires a lot of training to become proficient. Improve compliance & risk management.

What differentiates Oracle NetSuite ERP from other similar products?

This software is affordable and very capable - in fact it is multipurpose because it also makes discrete manufacturing easy

I like the many financial management features and capabilities It offers some of the best ERP features

What do you dislike most about this product?

Requires lots of financial knowledge and accounting skills to use it

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend Oracle NetSuite ERP for most business financials and more so financial management because it has great features and has worked for us.
