What differentiates Optimizely Digital Asset Management from other similar products?

Unlike other DAM systems, Optimizely integrates exceptionally well with the marketing and automation tools we already use, such as HubSpot and Salesforce. This integration allows for efficient synchronization of assets, reducing search time and improving workflow. The user interface is remarkably user-friendly. Unlike other platforms that can be overwhelming, Optimizely allows you to customize the workspace to the team's needs, making it easy for all users to adopt, regardless of their technical expertise

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like Optimizely DAM because I think it's ideal for marketing teams that handle a lot of visual content, such as images and videos, and require constant collaboration between different departments. For example, in product launch campaigns, quick and efficient access to assets is crucial.

What do you dislike most about this product?

It might not be as effective for organizations that only require a basic storage system without the need for advanced integration with other systems.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Optimizely DAM is especially suited for companies that manage a large inventory of digital assets and are looking to improve their marketing processes. However, it may not be the best choice for smaller organizations that do not require complex integrations or that have a significantly smaller volume of assets.

What differentiates Optimizely Digital Asset Management from other similar products?

For me, the difference is that the work flow is more practical. I use it daily for uploads, searches and approvals. The organization of the data and permissions is neatly sort out and it creates consistency for us and the whole team. Some of the competitors confuse these things but with this tool we always head in a clear direction. The collaboration part is also really easier and reliable. The discussions and review cycles can be smooth in day to day operations. This way it helps in my day as a sales engineer.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Optimizely Digital Asset Management helps me a lot in my daily work. I upload assets with more efficiency, the search filter works in a better way and I have control over all the permissions of the data. The interface feels slow and some of the things don't seem to really work my way. This product is useful for real time work and improves collaboration within the team.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What irritates me the most is that while working, it sometimes slow down. I feel like I’m waiting on the processes to run during which my work stops. I have also found the learning curve of integrating this tool with others a bit difficult. All of these combined really lead us to a state where our productivity is hindered with the performance of this tool.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would definitely recommend to identify your current work situation and all the operations you need assistance in and then steer it to see how the whole functionality could really fit for you. From a sales engineer point of view, this is worth considering as I am currently using it in my work routine.
